Bookings, safeguarding and money, in one place.

Ticketing sites sell tickets. Church databases keep records. StewardStack runs the whole Event: the booking, the parent’s consent, the volunteers’ checks and the money, with nothing copied between systems.

Most tools do one part well. StewardStack also keeps the consent, the checks, the concerns and the budget with the Event they belong to. Tap the information beside a feature to see what it means.

A dash means we couldn’t find it on the product’s own published pages when we checked on 27 October 2026. Products change: if something here is out of date, tell us and we’ll correct it.

Joined up, so nothing falls through the gaps.

With a ticketing site, a giving tool and a spreadsheet of checks, someone has to match it all up by hand. Here it’s one record.

Consent arrives with the booking

Parents sign the consent form as they book, and it stays with that child’s booking for the Event. Nobody matches forms to names afterwards.

The Event team shows who is cleared

Choosing the Event team shows each person’s checks, and every role’s required checks, references and training are tracked as they come due.

A concern links to the Event and the people

An incident is reported against the Event or the person it’s about, and safeguarding concerns go to your safeguarding lead and their deputies alone.

The money adds up on its own

Ticket income, donations, Gift Aid, Event budgets and expense claims sit together in Finance, where a Finance viewer sees the money without anyone’s personal details.

Giving sits beside every booking

Families can add a gift as they book, fundraising pages show a target, a progress bar and who gave, and Gift Aid is claimed on all of it together.

You know who is still on site

Attendees check themselves in and out by scanning a poster with their own phone, so the team can see at a glance who hasn’t left yet.

All of it, for less than Eventbrite charges for tickets alone.

A year of 600 tickets at £25 and 250 donations of £25 in the UK, with your organisation paying every fee, at each product’s published prices.

    Included
  • Card processing is 1.5% + 20p on each UK card payment wherever a product charges it separately; Eventbrite’s fees include it.
  • StewardStack’s and Eventbrite’s fees are shown before VAT. Eventbrite adds 20% VAT to its fees unless you give it a VAT number, so without one its year costs more than shown. ChurchSuite’s subscription includes VAT.
  • Eventbrite and StewardStack can both pass booking fees on to the people booking instead. ChurchSuite’s price grows with the number of contacts you keep, whatever your Events.
  • Safeguarding is free on StewardStack for up to 10 active volunteers and employees. Planning Center takes card payments only in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and Brushfire’s church plan is $299 a month, so neither is costed for a UK year.

When something else may suit you better.

We’d rather you chose well than chose us. These are the honest cases.

You mainly need strangers to find your Events

Eventbrite lists Events on its own marketplace. StewardStack gives you Event pages on your own domain, but no marketplace.

You need a whole church database

ChurchSuite and Planning Center also run rotas, small groups and Sunday check-in. StewardStack is built around Events, fundraising and safeguarding.
